Grainne & Jim Kirwan
Grainne is the owner and manager of the Harbour Masters House and the only child of the last late Harbour Master, Eugene Byrne.
Grainne and Jim also operate a successful dairy farm since 1971. When Grainne’s parents died in 1997 and 1999 they commenced the restoration of the Harbour Masters House in June 1999. It was opened for business in the year 2000 and has since become an establishment that has built up a vast amount of regular guests who return year after year for a relaxing refreshing break in the Shannon Harbour.
Jim and Grainne also run the Bed and breakfast with the help of their four children. John, the youngest, is an avid fisherman and is always available for local fishing tips and hot spot guidance. Booking information.
