Glendeer Pet Farm

Glendeer Pet Farm is an award winning 12 acre open farm situated in the heart of Ireland. Glendeer provides a safe and carefree environment for children of any age.

The farm itself comprises of 6 acres and an additional 6 acres of a nature walk. The farm has over 50 species of animals; children are given a bag of food to feed the goats, sheep, emu, donkeys, cows, llama and lots more animals. Check out our newly arrived Monkeys.

Lough Boora Parklands

Lough Boora Parklands has a wide variety of attractions for all. These include cycling (you can hire bicycles here too), hiking, flora and fauna, walking, angling, game fishing, bird watching and a 50 acre outdoor sculpture park.

Slieve Bloom Mountains

For a taste of the real unspoilt rugged Ireland, spend an exhilarating day out in the fresh mountaair of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. Explore the mountains, by foot, bicycle, horse or car. The Slieve Bloom Mountains are a Hill Walkers paradise. The mountains are not so high as to be dangerous, yet are not so low that they can still provide a challenge for every grade of walker. There is a wide choice of looped walks, long distance marked walks or simply take to the hills with a good map and compass.
