Banagher is 5 km from the Harbour Masters House and has many nice pubs and restaurants for food & music. Banagher is a town on the banks of the River Shannon in the heart of the midlands. It has its own marina and a park on the banks of the Shannon. The town is steeped in history with Martello tower overlooking the town from the west and St. Rynagh's and St. Paul's Churches on top of the hill.
