Walking attraction

It is possible to walk the length of the canal from Dublin to Shannon Harbour. Along this route there are many additional walkways of interest. Check out http://walks.iwai.ie/grand/ Offaly county council has developed a walking route called the Offaly Way which link the Grand Canal with the Sleive Bloom Mountains.
